Stage 1 involves a Hollow Fiber Filter that removes 99.999999% of bacteria, including E. Coli, and 99.999% of protozoa, such as Giardia and Cryptosporidium. It also eliminates 99.999% of microplastics from your water source and can filter an impressive 4,000 liters (1,000 gallons) of water. In Stage 2, an Ion Exchange Filter takes care of reducing chlorine and lead levels, removing unpleasant odors and tastes, and filtering out organic chemicals like pesticides and herbicides. This filter has a capacity of 100 liters (25 gallons).
