Altapac Services Pty. Ltd. was established in 1972 when its founder Paul “Pinky” Evans saw the opportunity to start the first automotive window tinting business on the east coast of Australia. After a quick growth period, Altapac moved to its current location along Park Avenue Kotara opposite the then Garden City shopping centre.

Since then Altapac has progressively expanded into providing all manner of automotive accessories. Altapac has always been at the forefront of innovation including the introduction of car phones during the eighties and mobile phones in the nineties. The mid-nineties saw Altapac develop a Computer cut window tinting software package to further enhance the efficiency and accuracy of its tinting process and maintain its position as the leaders in this field.
